2nd Update: A collection agency called me saying I owed money from my final move out two years ago which I already paid. I'm still working to get this resolved but even after leaving they are still being a pain. It seems a bit suspicious that the manager responded to my previous update around the same time that the collection agency said they received my file. I've tried many times to get in contact with the building and management company but they refuse to answer phone calls or call you back. There are also many people in the Facebook group saying they are getting calls from collectors on bills already paid as well. Hands down the worst experience I've ever had as a renter.
Update: Greystar bought the property and everything went to hell. We had an elevator down for 6 weeks and the staff consistently turned over causing them to not know how to help with anything. The homeless situation has gotten worse as well. Recommend avoiding now.
Original review of Alexan: My girlfriend and I moved in here a few weeks ago and everything has been amazing so far. We toured a handful of different properties around the Denver area and nothing compares to Alexan; great location, great finishes, & great amenities. The leasing office is top notch too. We have worked primarily with Hannah and Doug, both of whom have been extremely accommodating and ensured that we are very comfortable in our new home. I highly recommend living here.
Edit: 11/ 11/23
I just received an email from a debt collector agency claiming I owe money to the complex from THREE years ago.
I received no bill, no phone call or nothing for three years, then all of a sudden owe money? They definitely had my forwarding address, number, email etc on file. They didn’t even provide what it was for. Not really cool this was sent to a debt collector when I am completely clueless what it’s for. Everything was supposed to be squared away when I left December 2020.
Most of these 5 star reviews are from when the building was new (2019) and different management was in control. This building has been through a high turnover of staff and management companies.
This place is a complete dumpster fire. The homeless situation is out of control. Life and property are not safe here. Break-ins, thefts, assaults you name it. Join the private Facebook group to see what it’s really like to “live” (survive?) here
Check out the views! This place sucks! Nothing but homeless tents around the building.
I’m so very thankful to have found this place right after they got new owners! The people who work here are so amazing; especially the front desk staff! Those two create a sense of community and are very helpful! Shout out to MaKayla for …
Great place, great location, and awesome staffs. Pete is my main man, he made everything easier (applications, moving-in, etc). What make me go for this place after researching is the high ceilings, amenities, and big windows! ...
Also, the community manager and other staffs goes out of their way to help you. If you have questions, ask them. They will cooperate with you on solution, and won't just dismiss it with generic response. Most helpful bunch I've ever witness !
Edit:
I moved out when Greystar took over because they did not have a good reputation and oh was I right. This is specifically for Greystar management and not the apartment itself.
When I moved out 2 years back, they didn't communicate me on anything and I have to constantly keep following up with them to make sure I did everything right. They said everything was fine and that they would send me any move out fees if there were any. Beside ridiculous charges on minor cosmetic damages, I was charged with a certain amount. I was like fine, I will pay for it. I have to email them and, again, constantly follow up on how to pay. I did as they instructed and heard nothing back from them.
Apparently they put this amount in the collection agency and I did not hear anything from them or anything about this issue. They have my mailing address, email, and phone. Now I have to deal with the collection agency. So much pleasure working with them, what a pain and nuisance. Beware if you see Greystar man. Just don't
I lived in 20th Street Station for a year but ultimately chose not to renew my lease due to management’s unprofessionalism. It was very difficult to get assistance from management, especially via email. I tried emailing management at …
I would give a zero-star rating if that was an option. I do not know where to start. The management staff and team are completely incompetent and refuse to change. Countless packages have been stolen from my front door including decorations …
